Title: Water Water Everywhere (Summer 2024)

Location: Golden Ears Provincial Park (BC, Canada)

About: This was a perfect summer night: cool but not too cold, high clouds that allowed the mountains to be visible, a light rain that detracted other people from being out. Perhaps this isn’t most peoples’ idea of a perfect summer night, but I couldn’t have asked for anything more. This image reminds me that it’s okay – great, even – to be different. To enjoy things that are unique and unpopular. This image reminds me that there is beauty to be found in even the most unusual of habits, including my habit of racing outside when the clouds roll in, and running back inside when the sun comes out. I hope this work reminds you to embrace your own uniqueness. You never know what beauty might come of it.
